A. This is probably our most asked question. Life in a
Wind Band is
almost exactly the same as life in a Brass Band. However,
there are some important differences. These are some of them: -
No Competitions.
It’s not just a question of not have to rehearse
special pieces or attend on the day, our whole music philosophy is effected.
All our efforts are directed to scaling new musical heights regardless of
what other bands might do. Our only competitors are ourselves.
The Music is a Little Different.
Our programming is based on audience needs. We
chose music from all genres. Our instrumentation is particularly
suitable for music compose for the and stage & screen. In particular
we are interested in Big-Band music and classical transcriptions.
We rarely play
specialist compositions such as those written for competitions.
Less Rehearsals.
We rehearse once a week.
Less Engagements.
For quite a different reason, we play not more
than 2 engagements per month in the summer.
Conclusion.
We hope you would find our music both interesting
and fun. It is certain that a wind band will take up less of your spare time.
