BRISTOL WIND BAND is the group’s mainstream band which provides playing opportunities for:
- Anyone returning to playing after a lengthy break in playing to whom it offers specialised help.
- Players who perform at a "middle ability" standard (approx. Grade 3 to 6)
BESIDES its weekly rehearsals the Band offers:-
- Occasional concerts and out door engagements.
- Joint Christmas and Spring concerts with Bristol Concert Wind Band.
- Band trips at home and abroad.
- An annual training day.
- The "Soiree" (a combined bands musical evening).
All of these activities will help you to get to know people who share your interests.
