BRISTOL WIND BAND

BRISTOL WIND BAND was formed originally by Chris Harris as the Training Band for Bristol Concert Wind Band. He has had 25 years experience in providing tuition for "moderate to good" players.

To achieve this it offers a mixture of band rehearsals and structured training sessions.

All of this takes place in a relaxed atmosphere where the members can gain confidence while supporting one another.

Conductor/brass specialist Chris Harris is well qualified and highly experienced.

He is assisted by Nicola Ware who is an experienced tutor/conductor and a clarinet specialist.

Other instrumental specialists assist from time to time.

VACANCIES
At the moment, we have vacancies for all instruments.
Besides woodwind and brass, we also require drummers (percussion) and a double or electric bassist.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
New members should have a reached basic playing standard and have a desire to improve.

Anyone who needs help with reading or basic skills should consider the Beginners Groups.
