Q.    How do I know I would feel at home in your band? Would I fit in socially and musically?

A.    The Band would make every effort to see that you fit into your new band comfortably.

As far as the music side is concerned, our Musical Director is very experienced in dealing with musicians and is always accessible; though time is sometimes a problem. He is ably assisted by a Deputy who, if anything, has slightly more time at her disposal. Beside these two, you will have a Section Leader who can deal with all every day matters and who will help you in any way he or she can.

As for non-musical issues, we have a Membership Secretary who you will meet on you first visit, and who will tell you anything you need to know about organisational matters. There is also a Social Secretary who organises social events and who is also willing to help in other ways, if needed.

We are all aware that, for some people, being the new boy or girl is difficult. Rest assured we will do everything we can to make you feel welcome.
